The ‘Co-joined squares’ panel was constructed out of sixty four squares, some plain solid colours, some 2 coloured (ie 1 colour and white) and then some black and white. Instructions for kntting the2 coloured squares are found in Chapter 1. 4 of the single coloured squares were worked in the 1st of the slip stitch mosaic patterns (Mosaic Block 1) which you will find in the pages below.
