Long Sleeve Pullover Version
Yarn
Farmers Daughters Fibers, Craggy Tweed Dk; (85 % Merino, 15% NEP) 231 yards/100g Approximately:
Color A= Paul Newman 655 700 (740, 785, 850) (900, 940, 1055) 1115 1190 yards
Color B= Elk Antler 175 185 (200, 210, 222) (240, 250, 280) 295 315 yards
Color C= Napi approximately 105 110 (115, 125, 135) (140, 150, 165) 175 185 yards
Materials
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, minimum16” cord.
US Size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 22” cord.
US Size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles, minimum 8” cord optional for sleeves.
Note on cord length, for the yoke and body section, especially the larger sizes, you may want a longer cord.
Note: If you are a tight knitter when it comes to color work, it may be helpful to go up a needle size for the sleeves, personally I tend to knit a little tighter when knitting in the round over a fewer number of stitches (sleeves) ESPECIALLY when doing 3 color color work. I used a US Size 7 (4.5 mm) needle for my sleeves!
For the sleeves, a shorter cord, DPN’s or Magic Loop method may be used.

Note on sleeve measurements, these are based on the gauge with US Size 6 (4.0 mm) needles, if you opt to go up a size for the needles, your sleeve may be slightly wider and longer!
NOTE: This design can be worn with 2-8” positive ease, depending on desired fit. To choose the size for the intended fit, pick your size based on the finished measurements. Shown here in size 3 with approximately 7” positive ease.
Gauge
21 stitches x 26 rows in stockinette stitch = 4 x 4”/ 10 x 10 cm with US Size 6 (4.0 mm) needles over pattern for body after blocking.
Or size needed to obtain gauge
Notes
This sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back for slight shoulder shaping. The sleeves stitches are put on hold after the yoke then picked up and worked in the round down to the cuff. You can choose to carry your contrasting colors through the solid stripes of Color A on both the body and the sleeves, if you prefer not to have as many ends to weave in. To do this, after working a row you can move your contrasting color (s) that you are NOT knitting with that round to the front of your work, work one round in pattern, then move that contrasting yarn to the back for the next round, repeating this back and forth until you need that color again.
This sweater can also easily be knit with only 2 colors, if you are not a fan of three color knitting, by subbing one color for both colors B and C on the chart.
