The Cocktails by the Sea Shawl is designed for the Midsummer Countdown Calendar hosted by Chefwol with the same theme. The result is a beautiful summer shawl you can wear on one of those long summer nights, or to keep you covered from too much sunlight.

This shawl is made using a (semi-)solid commercial yarn throughout. Participants of the Midsummer Countdown Calendar recieved handdyed yarn, dyed in colors representing cocktails, together with the Green-blue Main Color.

Yarn:

• Scheepjes Metropolis ‘022 Passay’, 2 balls of 50gr, are used for the sample. Alternatives are any fingering weight hand dyed or commercial yarn.
• Scheepjes Metropolis, 21 balls of 10 gr in different colors are used as contrast colors for the sample. Alternatives are any fingering weight hand dyed or commercial yarn.

Needle:
This shawl is knit with 4.0mm needles. The size you need depends on your gauge.

Gauge
In single crochet: 19 stitches x 26 rows measures 10x10 cm, using fingering weight (400-420m/100gr) and 4.0mm needles.
