A fun, basic hat pattern that shows off some fabulous coils art yarn framed between black ribbing & crown. Two types of crown shaping included, pointy top or rounded crown.

Pattern calls for one skein of Treasured Coils Handspun art yarn, but you could use approx 50 yards of any art yarn combined with less than half a skein of worsted weight yarn.

Looser than usual gauge for the worsted weight yields a nice stretchy pattern and lets the art yarn slouch and create a lovely hat!
