ABOUT THE PATTERN
The College Avenue Hat is designed with basic knits and purls. Simple to work with a fun finished feel. The three different sizes follow the same directions – the only difference is the gauge of the yarn used and the number of stitches!

SIZES
Toddler (Child-Adult S, Adult M)

MEASUREMENTS
To Fit: 18 (20, 22.5)” (45.75 (50.75, 57.25) cm) head circumference
Finished Measurements: 17.5 (19.25, 21.75)” (44.5 (49, 55.25) cm) circumference

MATERIALS
Yarn: weight and yardage vary by size of hat
Toddler: 175 yds (160 m) DK weight
Child-Adult S: 145 yds (135 m) Worsted weight
Adult M: 140 yds (130 m) Bulky weight
Needles: 16” (40 cm) circular and dpns, suggested needle size varies by weight of yarn used
Toddler: Size US 6 (4.00 mm) for DK weight
Child-Adult S: Size US 7 (4.50 mm) for Worsted weight
Adult M: Size US 10 (6.00 mm) for Bulky weight
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

GAUGE
Toddler Size DK Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
Child-Adult S Size Worsted Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
Adult M Size Bulky Gauge: 14 sts and 20 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
