Color Blocked Shoulder Cozy
Advanced Beginner’s welcome!
This piece is knit-in-the-round, from the neck to the hem with cables for a cozy high neckline, yarn-overs, for your stitch increases and a color change for fun. The pattern provides you both written and charted instructions. I chose Solitude Wool, Romney 2-ply Aran weight yarn for it’s warmth and the stitch definition it gives the cables around the neck. I have enjoyed wearing this about the house and to the grocery store in the early fall mornings of 2013. It provides a warmth for your shoulders, and upper body while allowing you the freedom of your arms to continue to do light work at a desk, driving, and many other tasks where the extra warmth is welcome but a coat is not what you want to grab for.
