Green or blue version

In a former life, I worked in IT and about 95% of my colleagues where male. I used to joke and ask them if there was an official color code, that said men could only ever wear grey, navy, khaki or beige? These men told me they didn’t dislike color, they just hated to draw attention with their dress style.
I love color and I think that the right colors, worn close to your face, can do a lot for you, male or female, and make you much more happy when you pass a mirror. So here’s my recipe for a scarf in two color combinations that add some color to men (or women) without shouting it from the rooftops.

You can choose any color combination you like, but if you find it hard to choose colors, the following information might help you a bit.
- The green version will mostly suit people with a warm skin tone,
warm honey blond, red of brown hair and brown or green eyes.

  • The blue version will mostly suit people with a cool/reddish skin tone, bright blond, grey or black hair and blue or grey eyes.
  • I you want to use other colors, try to find 5 from one palette (brown/beige tones or pink/purple tones, for instance) and 1 that makes a nice contrast (like yellow with brown or lime green with pink/purple.) Play a little with light and dark colors.

Worked back and forth on the circular needle.
