Colors That Climb Sampler
Ten motifs using vertically-stranded color work, or Colors That Climb, are worked in the round to create a knitted tube that is cinched to form a hat if you wish. The original intent is to provide a learning tool to offer motifs to audition. Pick the ones you like and use them elsewhere on socks, sweaters, or a design of your choosing. This pattern was written for my 2018 Knit Stars 3.0 North Stars Rising curriculum.
Each motif has written instructions and a chart. Some have an additional Stitch-Map.
One skein main color and 25 grams of four contrast colors.
This pattern now includes a three page tutorial to learn the technique.
