Meet the Comfort Carb Baguette — a deliciously cute crocheted baguette that can be made with or without safety eyes! What makes this pattern special is pockets that are crocheted between the “scores” of the bread. They’re designed especially for including thoughtful messages to the person you’re gifting the baguette to! And to save you some time, I’ve gone ahead and created a printable PDF of messages that you can include in your baguette (included at the end of the pattern)!

These little loaves are perfect for emotional support gifts, teacher gifts, and most of all - craft fairs and markets! They work up quickly and have endless possibilities when it comes to customization.

Stitches used include the single crochet, single crochet 2 together, double crochet, and slip stitch. Pattern is written in standard US terms (language: English). Super bulky weight yarn and a 6.5 mm are needed, as well as fiberfill stuffing, scissors, a yarn needle, and plastic safety eyes (optional).
