Mittens inspired by the pattern in clue #18 of Mystery Scarf 23

For the original mittens I used fingering wool from West Lynne Wool, Bigton, Shetland, colours Maroon and Natural white.

Measurements
Total length: 25 cm
Length from cuff to top: 20.5 cm
Circumference : 21 cm
Length from thumb to top: 12 cm
Thumb length: 6 cm

Size modifications
The mittens can easily be made a little smaller or larger by using thinner or thicker yarn and/or needles. By adding a few rounds before starting the decreases the mitten and the thumb can be made a little longer.
