This light, airy lace cowl is perfect for transitional weather and all-day wear in any season. It’s named after the musical term con brio, which means “with spirit or vigor.”
It’s worked in the round with DK weight yarn. The pattern, designed to match the Con Brio Mitts, offers instructions for three sizes.

23.25 (38.75, 54.25) inches/59 (99, 138) cm circumference by 8.5 inches/21.5 cm deep
Materials:
--165 (270, 355) yds/150 (245, 325) m DK weight yarn. Sample in size 3 was knit with one skein of Juniper Moon Farm Patagonia Organic Merino 100% wool; 382yd/350m per 100 gr skein, color #101, light grey.
--US #5/3.75mm 24- or 32-inch circular needle
--Stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge: 17.5 sts/32 rnds = 4”/10 cm in Lace Pattern, after blocking
One repeat of the 34-stitch Lace Pattern measures approximately 7.75 inches/19.5 cm wide after blocking.
