The texture of this shawl was inspired by my great great grandfather, Henry Silberhorn, who is well known in Concertina circles. He had a line of his own concertina’s as well as wrote & transposed a great deal of music for the instrument.
I also discovered in a letter from late in his life that he knit. “I am still knitting table pads for hot dishes to pass some of my time. Also have whiskey - gin and plenty cigars, so I am living in the old style getting along very on the concertina.”

Wrap up in warmth with a cozy shawl featuring bold ribbed stripes designed by Rae Blackledge in Willow Attire Light yarn.
