Fourth pattern from Strickmich! Club 2021 – this pattern was exclusively available to our club members during one year after its publication in November 2021.

It’s a swoncho: A sweater-poncho hybrid that we have been seeing a lot in the knitting world lately. Wide and flowy like a poncho, but with sleeves that makes it very wearable: It won’t come off or be in the way when you are going about your daily business. But “Concrete Flower” is so much more than a swoncho: It is sufficiently light to be worn as a cowl or a shawl, depending on whether you use the sleeves for your arms or not. My sample was knit out of 80 g of a 100-g-ball of a beautiful Alpaca-silk-blend. The open sides make it wearable for larger sizes, and you can adapt the pattern to your own needs: change the width and length of the sleeves as well as the depth and width of the neck opening, limited only by the amount of yarn you have.

Vierte Anleitung aus dem Strickmich! Club 2021 – diese Anleitung war ein Jahr lang exklusiv unseren Clubmitgliedern vorbehalten.

Es ist ein „Swoncho“! Eine Mischung aus „Sweater“ (Pullover) und Poncho, die sich in letzter Zeit in der Strickwelt sehr großer Beliebtheit erfreut: weit und angenehm wie ein Poncho, aber mit praktischen Ärmeln, so dass nichts verrutscht oder im Alltag im Weg ist. „Concrete Flower“ („Asphaltblume“) ist aber eigentlich noch viel mehr: Je nachdem, wie du die Ärmel nutzt, kannst du dieses Stück auch als Cowl oder Tuch tragen. Das Modell auf den Fotos ist aus weniger als einem 100g-Knäuel eines feinen, aber fluffig-warmen Alpakagarns entstanden. Durch die offenen Seiten passt es auch größeren Größen und kann außerdem während des Strickens an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden: Weite und Länge der Ärmel und die Größe des Ausschnitts kann jede – nur begrenzt durch die vorhandene Garnmenge – selbst wählen.
