This dramatic wrap is knit as a rectangle using one color at a time. Short rows are used to create the color pattern. A shawl collar is added to one side to finish the piece. Gradient colors highlight the scalloped pattern of colors. The wrap can be worn open, belted, or tossed over a shoulder.

I used five colors (450 yards of each) to make this wrap, ranging from white to dark brown (all natural colors of alpaca).
