A fun collection for fall, Abstraction features four designs inspired by abstract art, using the visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may be independent from visual references in the world (wiki).
Contradiction
Contradiction is a slightly heart-shaped triangle shawl featuring broken ribbing and wavy stripes. It is worked from the top down, written instructions only. It is a contradiction for me, because I typically don’t prefer the “wrong side” look of knitted fabric, but I like it on this shawl! The design is suitable for sport to worsted weight yarns; just be sure to adjust your yarn requirements accordingly when making substitutions.
