Before you throw that ratty sweatshirt away, why not knit him a new one that’s even better? For the perfect fit, measure his existing top and choose the size here that comes closest. Extra ease is built into this design for a roomier fit. Shown in size 8.

Finished Chest: 25.75 (27.5, 30.25, 32, 34.75)”
Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rows per 4” in stockinette on larger needles
Yarn: 550 (600, 685, 775, 870) yards A & 35 (40, 45, 50, 55) yards B worsted weight yarn, shown in Big Bad Wool Weepaca in “Canoe” & “Fried Egg”
Tools: Size 6 (4 mm) circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, size 7 (4.5 mm) 24” circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, crochet hook for provisional cast on, stitch markers
