The Coorie cardigan was inspired from the old Scottish word meaning to nestle or snuggle. The garment is designed to be worn as a cover for the great Scottish outdoors (no matter the weather) and for snuggling at home afterwards.

The cardigan is a practical garment with pockets, worked flat in pieces from the bottom up then sewn together. The diamond cables pattern is knit using the intarsia colourwork technique. The button bands are knitted separately and sewn onto the cardigan and inset pockets are worked into the front pieces and finished off at the end.
