A whimsical cold weather scarf that uses guided surface stitching…I’m not going to let you do those swirls blind! So have no fear because chain 1 spaces will guide the way.

This pattern uses a method to create a bulky yarn from one worsted skein of yarn. It’s an easy way to use 3 strands at once without getting tangled. This method can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tieArIwQ9Vk
A bulky weight yarn can be used as well.

Supplies
10.0mm (N/P hook)
Scissors
Yarn Needle

Yarn:
Malabrigo Rios in colors:
Color A: Natural
Color B: Indiecita
OR a Bulky Weight Yarn such as Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky or Red Heart Medley Yarn
Abbreviations / Information
ch- Chain
sc- Single Crochet
Sl st- Slip Stitch
Gauge in single crochet, 4 x4 inches:
8 rows x 8 stitches
Skill Level: Easy

Yardage: 360- 640 yards
Measurements without tassels:
Small: 41 inches long x 4 inches wide
Large: 60 inches long x 6 inches wide
