A throw comprised of two each of ten squares, each featuring an Italian-themed stitch pattern.

We don’t really like the word “throw“ as it has so many meanings, and an “afghan” didn’t seem like the right term either, so we looked up the Italian word for coverlet or throw—hence “Copriletto.” Not to mention, anything seems more appealing in Italian!

Presented here are the 10 patterns, each creating a Copriletto square. We’ve included a schematic for planning the finished project, which consists of twenty squares, 10” x 10” each, or two of each pattern.

We used a worsted weight yarn yarn.
