Coral Punk. Crocheted with the Double Crochet stitch only. Little tentacles stitched together to form the crown then crocheted around the bowl.

This cosy in the second photo has been exhibited in the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney - March to May 2010.

The pattern in REALLY Wild Tea Cosies is made with Noro Sock wool but the 2nd and 4th variations here are made with Noro Kureyon and Noro Silk Garden and without the contrast yarn at the top of the tentacles.

It makes for a much faster crochet and holds up better too I reckon.
