Ribbed branches and clear meandering lines create a graphic interplay on this large and cosy shawl.

This wrap features a combination of ribbing and travelling lines that look wonderful on both sides. So, there is no real “wrong side” and it can be worn with either side showing, which makes it really easy to wear!

And you’ll be surprised that there is not a single cable worked in this shawl. You’ll only ever work max. 4 increases/decreases per row to create the effect of the mesmerizing branches! The rest is done in easy, relaxing ribbing.

It is worked sideways from tip to tip as an elongated ellipse-like shape and the pattern is adjustable to the yardage you have available or your desired size if you prefer to make a smaller/larger shawl.

Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

This pattern has been created in collaboration with Woolissime Yarns and I had the great pleasure of working with her wonderful Inés and Suri base for my sample. You can find beautiful yarn sets on her website here.

I have also designed a matching sock pattern, as well as a matching scarf and a hat that can be found here:

Update Feb 2023:
(German version is available now.)
