Beautiful lace cowls and scarves are wonderful additions to anyone’s collection of accessories. These look great with just about anything you wear. From jeans and a t-shirt you wear to the movies to a suit you would wear to work, a knit lace scarf or cowl is great to have handy.

I designed this pattern to be knit in one piece and then the edges are joined to make a cowl. Alternatively, you could always knit it way longer and leave it as a scarf that you can wrap around your neck two or three times. Or, knit it in a worsted weight yarn with a size 8 needle and make a semi-stole out of it.
