This cowl is extra warm because of two layers of fabric.
The inner (semi-solid) section is knit first in the round. The outer (multi-colored) section is knit second, flat in an eyelet pattern. They are sewn together at the end.

2 x 100g hanks of Araucanía Huasco Aran Kettle Dyes in shade 05 Cerulean (A).
1 x 100g hank of Araucanía Huasco Aran in shade 09 Pacifico (B).
One pair of size US 9/5.5mm knitting needles.
One size US 9/5.5mm circular knitting needle, 16in/40cm long.
Elastic sewing thread.

GAUGE
17 sts and 23 rows = 4in/10cm over stockinette stitch using size US 9/5.5mm needles.
15 sts and 25 rows = 4in/10cm over Eyelet pattern using size US 9/5.5mm needles.
