Top the winter chill off with the close-fitting, reversible toque, Corduroy Road Hat & Scarf set. Inspired by the Cape Scott Trail of corduroy roads on Vancouver Island, fun twisted stitches and purls traverse the fabric for a perfect set that’s also great to gift.

The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Two cast on methods are included below, but if another cast on is preferred, please ensure it is stretchy.

The scarf is worked flat from one end to the other. Instructions for the cable cast on and k2tog bind off are included, but if other methods are preferred, please ensure they have some stretch to allow for proper blocking.

The stitch patterns, including the crown decreases, are both written (see Stitch Instructions) and charted (pages 4 and 5) for your preference.
