Cornelia mittens
Soft, beautiful mittens made in our lovely Önling No 2. The mittens are adorned by a fun and deceptively simple, as you’ll only be working with 1 color most of the time. The pattern is both for adults and children. Make the mittens with leftover yarn, or buy 4 skeins and make some for your friends!

Materials
Önling No 2, 100 % Supersoft wool, 120 m per. 25 g.

Color A: pink 10 g
Color B: Dark grey 10 g
Color C: Light gray 15 g
Color D: Army 10 g

Work with 1 thread throughout work.

Recommended double-point needle size 3 1⁄2
and 4 mm / US 4 and 6.

1m / 40 inches of scrap yarn in a contrasting color
1 marker

Gauge
24 sts and 48 rows (24 garter ridges) on needle size 3 1/2 mm/ US 4= 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches

24 sts and 30 rows in pattern on needle 4mm = 10 x10 cm 4x4 inches

Directions
The mittens are knitted in the round from the wrist up .First, make a garter ridge edge with 1 color. Later, the multicoloured pattern is made in stockinette stitch. Stitches for thumb are set aside, and the mitten is finished. Then, gather the stitches for the thumb and knit this in pattern.
