Corryn Shawl
“Shelob was a Great Spider!”
J.R.R. Tolkien
This shawl is a delicate knit of silk lace. The lace is very organic, giving just a hint of familiar lace patterns. Clear glass beads and tiny drops give the effect of dew on spider’s silk.
Yarn:
I found Serenity just the right blend of consistency, strength and delicacy. I asked the ladies at Claudia’s for some help picking the color since they had eyes on it, they suggested Silver Shimmer and it was perfect!
Beads:
800 size 8 or 6 beads and 300 larger beads (if you are using size 8, you can use size 6, if you are using size 6 you can use strung beads) a size difference is optional, if you choose to use beads the same size you will need about 1100
24 drop beads.
