COS (Center Out Shawl)
This rectangular shawl starts with a long double-sided cast on, and is worked in the round from the center out. Width and length are added by increasing in each corner every other round, like a raglan sleeve
sweater.
The stitch patterns are simple, which shows off some special fingering weight yarn. If you have 3 special skeins that are complementary, this
pattern is for you!
The name of the shawl has a dual meaning for me. C.O.S. stands for Center Out Shawl, and COS is the airport code for Colorado Springs. I got the Emma’s Yarn while visiting Colorado Springs last summer while on Epic Vacation 2. I was a travel agent for many years, and the
airport codes are ingrained in my brain!
