Cosmos Top is an easy, wearable V-neck top featuring an all-over dip-stitch flower pattern that looks intricate but is simple and intuitive to work. (My favorite kind of pattern!) The stitch pattern highlights yarn beautifully, whether you’re using variegated, striping, or solid colours.
The V-neck shaping is straightforward and approachable, creating a flattering fit without complicated techniques. A turned hem adds a clean, streamlined finish, while I-cord edges at the neckline and straps are worked as you go—no finishing required. Strap length is easily customized while you knit, making it easy to achieve the perfect fit.

Designed to be worn with 0-2 inches/0-5 cm of positive ease. (Ease is included in finished chest measurement). Top is intended to have a close fit with some positive ease.

Materials

Yarn: Pine & Purl - Cashmere Sock. 80% Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon. 370 yards per 100 grams. “City of Starlight” colourway.

Approximate yardage used: 611 (682, 768, 849) (930, 1025, 1115) (1210, 1311) yds / 559 (624, 702, 776) (850, 937, 1020) (1106, 1199) m.

Recommend needle size: US size 3 (3.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge, cord length 32”.
Notions: wool needle for grafting, stitch markers.

21 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, blocked using US size 3 (3.25 mm).
