The coffee bean stitch, as we call it in the Netherlands, is a much used pattern.
It is a fast, simple and very flexible stitch.
Really useful for these hip, funky and cosy
hand warmers!

The trick of this flexible stitch is that you increase an extra stitch every second pattern round and decrease it every fourth round.
Play around with this pattern, as I did.
The pattern repeat is over 4 stitches and 4 rounds. If you like to knit the fingers in pattern be aware that the amount of stitches must be dividable by 4.

Knitted with just 50 grams of sock yarn!
