Cosy Links is a top down raglan cardigan, with some twists in the design. The raglan lines are highlighted by cables that curl into a side cable at the underarm.
This cardigan has a very feminine shape: it’s fitted at the waist and the hips are emphasized by the curved hem that is created by short
rows. There’s a slight positive ease incorporated into sizing, so that it gives a nice, feminine drape and a comfortable wear.
Although it’s not an easy pattern, and you have to pay attention to both the cable and the short row instructions, it’s a fun knit that will result a great garment. The warm and luxurious yarn makes it a fast knit and will keep you warm. You’ll be surprised to see the yardage too.

Please bear in mind that the pattern includes both written instructions and charts and you will need to familiarize yourself with the details before you cast on. While the cardigan itself is not difficult to knit, you may not find the instructions simple at first.

Malabrigo Mecha (100% Merino, 130yds 119m / 100 g)

Suggested yarns:
Bulky weight yarns with high wool content.

Yardage:
560 (600, 660) (700, 750, 790) yards

Needle:
US 10.5 (7 mm) and US 11 (8 mm) circular needle, at least 40”
(100 cm long) - or any size that gives you the right gauge.
DPN-s for sleeves if you like.

Others:
tapestry needle, stitch markers, cable needle.
