Knit Picks’ cotton blend “Comfy” Fingering yarn worked as stranded knitting creates a soft, cool, stable shorty sock, perfect for wearing with summer slides!

The top-down design uses the integrated Elaine’s Happy Heel design, which allows you to knit the short ankle portion of the sock….work the heel (without any “short rows”!) … and then return to knitting the instep/foot/toe to complete the sock.

  • 2-color stranded knitting provides stability for the cotton blend yarn
  • Twisted ribbing at the top is folded down and stitched to the inside to create a short, tidy, stretchy ribbing. Alternatively, you can knit a shorter ribbing and skip the fold down.
  • Half-ribbed simple “Elaine’s Happy Heel”
  • Classic wedge toe
