Nothing says a country Christmas quite like gingerbread men. And with our filet crochet tree skirt, we depict gingerbread men trimmed with bow ties and then bordered with single crochet sts. The skirt is worked in nine panels and edged with a quaint spider web stitch and then trimmed with large bow ties. A basic knowledge of filet is needed to work this project.

Materials:
• 2500-yds 100% cotton thread, size 10 (2 ½ 1000-yd balls) (white)
• Sm ball 100% cotton thread, size 10 (tan or brown)
• Steel crochet hook size 8 USA (1.50 mm)

Finishing Materials:
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• 5 yds (1 1/2” W) ribbon (for bows bet panels)
• 12 yds Christmas yarn (bows for gingerbread men)
• Glue gun/glue or fabric glue

Finished Size: 43” in dia
