Country Morning Placemat by Kathryn A. Clark

Country Morning Placemat

Wake up to roosters and chickens happily playing around the barnyard with this country-style placemat, worked from side to side, and designed to coordinate with the Country Morning Valance.

This pattern includes both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.

The filet crochet technique is akin to crocheting a piece of graph paper with some of the square grids filled in and some left open (or blank) to create an overall design. If you’d like to learn filet crochet, check out my YouTube tutorial: Filet Crochet: Learning the Stitches & a Few Extras!
