Countryside Texting Mittens
by Wendi Cusins
Fingerless Gloves, Texting Mitts, Wrist-warmers… Whatever you call them, these items are great. When the weather is chilly, keep your hands warm while driving, reading or even texting.
The stitch pattern used on these mittens makes them really comfortable to wear. They work up quickly using Worsted Weight yarn (and you might get two pairs of wrist warmers from one 3½ oz skein).
Finished Size: About 7” circumference and 8” long. (For a slightly larger/smaller size, use a larger/smaller hook.)
To make child-size mittens (5½“ circumference and 6½” long) - use Sport Weight (DK) yarn and a G-6 (4.00 mm) hook.
