This pattern begins with one strap (first strap), then we make the bag portion and then a second strap. To secure the bag onto the body, we will thread the second strap into the first strap and then use a button closure. In order to thread one strap through the other, there are 2 choices, a wooden ring or leaving an open space in the first strap. If you choose the wooden ring, start crocheting right onto it in the first round. We’ll be working in both rows and rounds. I recommend using a stitch marker to keep track of the last st of your round.
