Cozy Campfire Beanie
This beanie is for summer nights under the stars, autumn morning dog walks, and skate dates on frozen lakes. This is your new favourite year round beanie. Cozy cables provide style and shape, and the double brim keeps your ears toasty warm. This hat works up quickly with squishy aran weight yarn, and looks amazing with or without a pompom.
DETAILS:
Skill Level: Intermediate
Skills required: Knitting in the round, cabling, increasing, decreasing.
Requires: approximately 170-200 yards of Aran or Heavy Worsted weight yarn
Samples uses: Quince & Co Opsrey, approximately 200 yards/118g for a full folded brim beanie.
Note: this is just SLIGHTLY more than 1 skein of Osprey. Some knitters have found 1 skein to be sufficient, and others have needed to start a second skein.
Like any of my patterns, you can use any aran/heavy worsted yarn that fits your style and budget! Need help finding a suitable yarn? Check out my Tips and Tricks for yarn substitution!
One size fits most adults.
