This is brioche-stitch the old way. It is far from difficult, although you must keep a steady hand and it pays to have knitted a little before and have some experience in seeing where you are in your knitting. This coat is perfected with lovely finishing details, so much so that it’s almost hard to believe that it’s homemade.
