The Cozy Cord Cowl was designed to create a unique statement piece with movement and warmth. It is an awesome stash buster—mix and match whatever leftovers of Super Bulky and/or Bulky yarn you have on hand. Experiment with five different colors, make a multi-colored braid or a create a cowl with similar, subtle shades. Consider it your own little wearable piece of art—have fun and make it whatever you want it to be!

Materials needed:

Super Bulky/size 6 yarn and/or (Bulky/size 5 yarn)—approximately 114(128) yards total. You will need roughly 14(20) yards for Cord A, 17(25) yards for Cord B, 32(30) yards for Cord C, 13(17) yards for Cord D and 32(29) yards total for Piece E (the braid). You will also need approximately 6(7) yards to make the final wrap that holds your piece together.

US 11 (8 mm) Double Pointed Needles or US 11 (8 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cord or longer
