• Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick super bulky (super chunky) weight acrylic/wool yarn (solids: 6 oz/106 yds/170g per skein; prints/stripes: 5 oz/87 yds/140g per skein):
3 skeins #640-540B night shadow
2 skeins #640-099 fisherman
• Size N/P/15/10mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Large Clover pompom maker

GAUGE
7 hdc = 4 inches; 3 reps of rows 3 and 4 = 4 inches

PATTERN NOTES
Scarf and Hat are worked in repeated rows of half double crochet and half double crochet slip stitches in alternating colors.
Weave in loose ends as progresses.
Scarf: When changing color at end of even-numbered rows, begin and end with 8-inch tails. Tails will be worked into Fringes.
Hat: When changing color, do not cut yarn unless otherwise stated; carry along wrong side of work until next needed.
