I made this blanket for my sister for her new sunroom. I used two yarns because while the Bernat Blanket Brights yarn blended well with her furniture cushions, it did not have the exact color of the cushions. I found The Pioneer Woman Acrylic Yarn Cake knit with the Blanket yarn gave me traces of the cushion colors.

Because this pattern uses only stockinette and garter stitches it is good option for beginner knitters and the large size needles helps the project finish quickly.

The pattern is also very adaptable. Need a throw for your sofa use the pattern as written. Your yarn matches your decor perfectly use just one super bulky yarn. Yardage given is per yarn used. Although I have tested this yet, I could use several yarns held together to get gauge and this would be a great stash buster and a great way to get exact colors desired.
