This cozy chic striped V-neck cardigan is exquisite in Chelsea Luxe Yarns. Choose your favorite palette of colors in fingering and DK weight yarns in an assortment of luxurious textures and let your stripes shine!
Construction Details:
To keep the structure of the sweater, the body of the sweater is worked in separate pieces from the bottom towards the shoulders. After the body pieces are worked, the shoulders are seamed and stitches are picked up for each sleeve. Sleeves are worked towards the cuffs. Sides and sleeves are then seamed, and the front edging is picked up and worked.

Recommended ease is 6”/15 cm. If you are between sizes, go down a size for a fitted look or up a size for an oversized look. Sample sweater is shown on Christina in the 3rd size. A schematic is provided with additional measurements.
Gauge: 17 sts and 26 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, using either one strand of DK weight (CYCA #3) or 2 strands of fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarns held together, blocked, using size needle to obtain gauge.
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles or size needed for gauge and US 6 (4 mm) 40”/100 cm circular needles or one size smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: assorted fingering (CYCA #1) and DK (CYCA #3) weight yarns in the following quantities:
Border Color: 150 (160, 175, 185, 195)(205, 220, 230) yards in Chelsea Luxe DK
Stripe Colors: assorted 100g skeins in Chelsea Luxe Yarns to make 8 (8, 8, 8, 8)(9, 9, 9) stripes that will be repeated throughout the sweater.
Other Materials: tapestry needle, five locking stitch markers, five 1”/2.5 cm buttons. Note: more than 5 buttons may be used. Adjust as desired.
