Cragside
THIS CHUNKY cabled sweater has a side-to-side construction and a cosy turtleneck. “I wanted an unbroken line of cables that ran from the sleeve and across the chest, so using the side to side technique helped me to achieve that,” explains designer Jo Storie. The sleeves and body are worked as one continuous piece, with the neck and bottom trim being picked up and worked later. Jo’s design is knitted in her own yarn, the exquisitely soft BareFaced Chunky. This is an undyed blend of British Bluefaced Leicester wool and baby alpaca.
