The cool cotton/ silk/ viscose blend of Mirai lends sumptuous drape to this crescent shawl. Worked from the bottom up, it’s shaped with short rows after the scalloped heart-lace border is complete. Purl ridges add subtle texture where the border and stockinette-stitch body meet. The casual shallow shape is complemented by colorway #9’s soft rose, mint and persimmon pastels.

A knit along took place in August of 2016.

June 6, 2016: A note about yarn amounts. The prototype shown in the magazine used just over 1 ball of Mirai yarn. Thus the magazine calls for 2 balls. We noticed a few projects here on Ravelry have used just one ball.
We suggest you play it safe and get two balls.

Print magazine correction: Glossary is missing directions for S2KP: slip 2 sts as if to knit 2 tog, k1, pass 2 slipped sts over knit st
PDF is correct.
