Crescent Waves is our knit pattern for the 2023 Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop. The overall theme for the Hop was Under the Sea and our store was inspired by Jellyfish!

This shawl was designed to represent jellyfish tumbling through the crest of the waves as they move toward the sandy shore.

This shawl uses two colors of sport weight yarn. We used our Amazing Threads Simply Sport for this project.

MC: 1 skein Amazing Threads Simply Sport (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 115g, 280 yds) - Caribbean Bay
CC: 1 skein Amazing Threads Simply Sport (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 115g, 280 yds) - Dairy Princess

Needles: US 6-32” and/or US 6-40”
40” cable recommended towards the end of the project due to number of stitches on the needle.

This shawl starts with a garter tab cast on and is worked top down. Each section is worked in a single color. The MC should be cut instead of carried to leave clean lace edges.
