Show off a beautiful hand-dyed yarn with this delicate one-skein knit.

The shawlette is worked from the top down and features
an easy to memorise lace pattern. It is started with a
lace cast-on in the width of the garter stitch section. This
section is shaped using short rows. In the lace section, additional stitches are increased on both sides of the shawlette.

One skein of fingering weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 420 m (460 yds) per 100g
Used in the sample: Big Knitters 4-ply Sock; 425m per 100g ball; 75% Merino wool, 25% nylon in colourway Love, Mone. The colourway was exclusively dyed for this project and is available from the Big Knitters website, here

3.25mm / Us size 3 circular needles, approximately 80 cm (32”) long. The shawl is worked flat but a ciruclar needles are recommended to accommodate the large number of stitches
