Fresh and stylish for fall, Valley Yarns Crispin is a sophisticated pullover with on-trend bishop sleeves and a high hip length. A sleek boatneck and integrated drop-shoulder sleeves maintain clean design lines while Whately yarn adds heathered color and interest to your finished sweater. With a chainette blend of baby alpaca and organic Pima cotton, Whately is a soft and lightweight yarn that creates garments that are comfortable to wear nearly all year long. Crispin is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up with a three-needle bind-off joining the shoulders and upper sleeves and seams at the sides and underside of the sleeves, providing structure to the drapey fabric. Stitches are picked up around the bottoms of the sleeves and worked in a loose rib on a larger needle to give volume and additional drape to the lower half of the sleeve before decreasing for the cuffs. Choose from neutrals and vibrant colored shades of Whately and knit your own Crispin for a chic pullover that will effortlessly transition from one season to the next!
