This cowl uses cleverly placed increases and decreases on a two-color brioche fabric to create a criss cross pattern. It’s fun to knit because the criss-crosses appear out of nowhere.

I used a little less than one skein of each of the yarns described. The light color in Tosh Merino Light is the color Gentle Monster and the dark background color from la Bien Aimée Merino Singles used the color Undergrowth. Any fingering weight yarn will work.
