Pattern Notes
Blanket is worked by creating 4 squares (rows) that are seamed together (rows), with a border added last (round).
Each square is created in a diamond shape; Begin at one corner, increasing the stitch count every row until reaching half the desired size. Then, decrease the stitch count every row until the diamond (square) is formed.
The criss cross pattern is prevalent because each square has the same color striping that is arranged to create the visual effect shown.
