Criss Cross Shawl
The Criss Cross shawl is inspired by a fascinating textured parking surface! The concrete slabs have a criss cross pattern and the grass has grown through these shapes, creating a textured grid of crosses set within a textured concrete surface.
The shawl pattern combines an eyelet cross with garter stitch forming a series of linked diamond shapes placed within a textured grid. The stitch pattern is reversible, with subtle differences visible between stocking stitch sections on the right side of the knitting and the corresponding reverse stocking stitch areas on the wrong side.
