Baskets are useful for SO many reasons and crocheting a basket is probably easier than you think. Suitable for beginners, you only need to know how to single crochet. You can easily customize the size to suit whatever purpose you dream up. To crochet a basket with sturdier sides, work the sides until they are twice as tall as desired and fold to the inside. Add purchased handles (or crochet some handles) and turn a basket into a summer bag.
